 Inwood is an upscale housing community located in
the suburbs of north central San Antonio, TX. Nestled in the
wooded, hilly landscape of south Texas, Inwood saw rapid growth
and housing construction during the early to mid 1990's. This
growth coincided with the rapid growth of north San Antonio as a
whole over the last 15 years. The neighborhood has been home to
several famous people, including San Antonio Spurs Sean Elliot,
Alvin Robertson, Doc Rivers, and Willie Anderson, as well as local
radio personality Sonny Melendrez and Congressman Henry Bonilla
(R-TX).
There are all types of Inwood real estate available. Homes in
The Village at Inwood cost anywhere in the mid $200s, homes in
The Forest and The Hollow are in the high $200s - $300s, and
homes in The Estates start in the high $300s and go up to over a
million dollars. Prices for Inwood real estate have actually
been going up over the past year so if the trend continues it is
best to buy sooner rather than later! All of this Inwood real
estate is outstanding and all of the communities provide great
homes. However, keep in mind that the Inwood real estate market
like everywhere else is always changing, so these prices won’t
be the same as those quoted here for long.
Inwood resides in the Northside Independent School
District and high school aged students attend Tom C. Clark H.S.
But many residents also attend private schools.
Inwood keeps a green-colored theme and has an olympic-sized
swimming pool and outdoor, full-court basketball facilities for
